Friends of Foulridge School! FOFS! The Schools Parent/Carer Teacher Association!
Friends of Foulridge School (FOFS) are the PTFA for St Michael & All Angels School, Foulridge.
FOFS is a vital part of our school community. We work to strengthen the connection between home and school by enriching the educational experience for all students through events, volunteer efforts, fundraising, and open communication between parents and school staff. Whether it’s organising events for our school community, providing classroom resources, or advocating for our kids, FOFS is here to make a positive impact.
Established in October 2025, we are a relatively young PTFA. But during our first year we have achieved so much. Fundraising wise we have held two very successful school disco’s, we are currently running a Sunflower growing competition, we recently held a Sports Day Snack Stop and are putting on the upcoming Summer Picnic. We are pleased to be taking over this year’s Colour Run event.
It’s not all about fundraising though. Our work extends throughout our school community with the aim of bringing people together. We have organised a Community Garden Day, Run a logo competition, helped at school events, applied for (and been awarded) grants for school and funded a Cinema Night for the children. This spring we bought 9 outdoor picnic benches for the school field.
We are proud of everything we have achieved so far and look forward to building on this strong start and continuing to develop this important asset to our school. We welcome anyone from our community who would like to contribute to our efforts for and on behalf of the children of St Michael’s and All Angels Primary School.
Here’s some practical information from our lovely Friends of Foulridge School - FOFS about the Summer Picnic Event this weekend 
Hi Everyone!!
Our Summer Picnic event is happening this weekend - Saturday 12-3pm. This is a free to attend event.
The picnic element of the day is BYO - Bring Your Own! We've done this so that you can eat the food you enjoy and when you want to. So fetch a blanket, bag a spot, enjoy your lunch and the sunshine.
12-1pm - Our family fun event will see sports activities run on the school field.
1-2pm - Live musical vibes will be provided by Fox and Hound.
2-3pm - A further hour of Sports Activities.
Children will be welcome to play in the following areas of the school grounds - the field, the yard, the sandpit/construction area and the trim trail.
Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times.
FOFS will be running a number of fundraising stalls -
Tombola
Tuck Shop
Cake Stall
Glitter & Face Paints
Hotdogs and Cold Drinks
Hook a Duck - Play for Prizes
Poo in the Loo - Play for Prizes
Cash and Card Payments will be accepted.
School will be accessible for the use of the toilets only.
