Welcome to St Michael and All Angels CE VA Primary School!

We are absolutely delighted that you and your child are thinking of joining the St Michael and All Angels family in September 2026. On behalf of the staff, governors, children and parents, I would like to extend an extremely warm welcome as you consider becoming part of our wonderful school community.

We genuinely look forward to meeting your child, and I am confident they will quickly settle and flourish within our nurturing environment. As a school, we are deeply committed to ensuring smooth and timely transitions that allow each child to settle in comfortably, get to know their teachers, and make new friendships that will last throughout their primary years.

Our Commitment to Your Child's Transition

We are continually thinking of innovative ways we can prepare your child and give them the very best possible start to their school life. Our comprehensive transition programme includes:

  • Sending out detailed information packages to help you prepare

  • Inviting you and your child into our school for engaging taster sessions

  • Visiting your child at their current nursery setting

  • Conducting friendly home visits to meet your child in their familiar environment

This thorough approach ensures we truly know your child and understand their unique interests and needs before they start school in September.

Supporting You as Parents

Starting school represents a significant milestone for both you and your child - it is indeed a time to be celebrated. We do absolutely everything we can to ensure this transition is a positive and memorable experience for everyone involved.

At St. Michael and All Angels Primary School, we are passionate about building excellent relationships between home and school. We believe that strong partnerships between families and our educational team create the foundation for every child's success.
