Free uniform is also available - We are working in partnership with the charity, 'Pendle Back to School Project'. Parents can go to their stall in Colne market hall (whilst the market hall is going through renovations this stall is in the arcade next to Oddies in the centre of town) and take any second-hand uniform you need free of charge. There is nobody working on the stall, please just help yourself to anything you need.
Items of Jewellery (including earrings)
It is also important to note that we do not allow any jewellery to be worn in school, with the exception of small stud earrings and a watch.
Stud earrings may be taped over for up to 6 weeks after the initial piercing during PE and sports club sessions. After this period of time, they should be removed by the child before the session or if this is not possible, removed by an adult at home on the day of the physical activity before coming to school.
Hair & Accessories
Hairstyles should be appropriate for a school setting and long hair should be tied back. Hair accessories should be minimal and in the school colours.
Additional Information:
In instances of extreme temperatures, we will send out additional information on recommended attire so that the children can be as comfortable as possible in school.
General
Plastic reading folders may be purchased from school via your Parentmail account.
Your child will also need to bring their own labelled water bottle.
